We offer opportunities for spiritual growth.
On Sunday mornings there are two worship services, one at 8:00AM (traditional language - Rite One) and 10:30AM (family service - Rite Two). There are also Christian Education classes for all ages at 9:30AM. On Wednesday mornings we also worship at 11:00 AM. At other times we offer bible study, classes in theology, natural spirituality, music and social gatherings.
Our outreach to others is most important to us. By loving and serving our neighbors we are most fully able to love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Quarterly we organize a workday to make repairs to homes of elderly people in our community. We teach adults to read and write. We volunteer at homeless shelters and other missions around the metro Atlanta area. Our church book and gift store profits are directed to our community outreach projects. The store is open on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays from 10AM -12:30PM.
Our church is small and friendly, yet we are growing and changing. We value our diversity and we welcome others to join us. We have recently completed our new church building which will equip us for an expanded ministry in the future. We do our best to teach our children of the love of God, and we also encourage one another in our spiritual journey.
It is impossible to convey here just what Good Shepherd and the Episcopal Church are all about. The best way for you to learn is to "come and see". We invite you to worship God with us, and make this place your spiritual home. |
